Practical information for visiting the south Moroccan desert

Morocco is one of the most welcoming countries.
It has maintained its traditions and culture particularly in the south Morocco region.
You will immediately feel at home and at ease.
The variety of scenery and the weather conditions attract more and more visitors.
Just a three-hour flight from France, Morocco is becoming a key destination.

From the main arrival airport:
It is possible to take a domestic flight or rent a car or even ask for a transfer via your destination.
There are also large taxis that serve all towns in Morocco.

Please note:

The currency in Morocco is the Dirham: 11 dirham = approx. 1 euro.
It is possible to withdraw money using a card at any cash point in Morocco. (Master Card, Visa…)
You can use a debit or credit card to pay for your purchases in certain shops..
Official language: Arabic
However, French is commonly used throughout the Kingdom of Morocco.

Do not forget to pack:

• Sunglasses

• A hat or cap
• Loose fitting clothes
• Mosquito repellent
• Comfortable shoes
• Small first aid kit (ibuprofen, plasters, disinfectant, paracetamol…)

Rates and Conditions

Rates are listed at the bottom of each page. - Prices are always indicated per person according to the group's composition (from 1 to 6) .- 6 people maximum per vehicle - from 12 people we carry out group rates (for group rates, please contact us) 5% is applied for children under 12 years old, and children under 6 years stay free of charge (up to 1 child per family).
- The price of the tours includes transportation, fuel, full board, and accommodation (hotel, riad, bed and breakfast or bivouac).
- The price for day trips includes transportation, fuel, lunch.
- Drinks (excluding water at meal times), visitor fees and other personal expenses are not included .


BOOKING

You can make your reservation via our form, a link is present on each program page. We will answer you within 24 hours specifying whether your stay can be taken into account and the terms of payment.
After confirmation of your reservation, it becomes effective after payment of 20% of the total amount. An invoice will be sent to you by e-mail.


CONDITIONS OF CANCELLATION OR NON-PRESENTATION

In case of cancellation of your part (which must be justified):
More than 21 days = no charge
From 21 to 15 days = 25% of the total stay
From 14 to 7 days = 50% of the total stay
Less than 7 days = 75% of the total stay
No Show: Total or partial non-presentation and / or cancellation within 48 hours of the arrival date will be invoiced on the basis of 100% of the service ordered.
In all cases, the deposit paid remains non-refundable and may be used for another time in the event of cancellation.

Insurance.

Our rates do not include assistance, repatriation or medical insurance. Please check the conditions of your personal insurance with your insurer or your travel agent when you purchase your airline ticket.

In the event of loss, accident, sickness or change of program related to the weather conditions or any other fault that would escape its control, Bivouac Sous Les Étoiles would be obliged to decline any responsibility.

Additional costs related to flight delays or cancellations are your responsibilit.
